Windermere Community Realty was formed in 2008 by Craig Gilbert and Richard 'Dick' Levy in Portland, OR as part of PDX Metro Commercial LLC committment to better serve clients with residential Real Estate transactions. After Mr. Levy’s passing in 2009, Craig expanded the company in 2010 to better serve the community of Vancouver, WA and in 2016, to Oregon City, OR.

I had a fantastic experience working with Bob. He went far beyond the call of duty for a typical agent and was always extremely quick to respond, even when out of town. His background knowledge of contracting was very helpful in making early assessments of potential properties, and he offered a wealth of knowledge regarding unforeseen pitfalls. He's also clearly skilled in structuring deals in a way to give you the best shot at closing. He always had an interesting angle or way of approaching an offer that depended on the seller and context of the sale. This paid off in the end and we got a fantastic deal on a home in inner NE...something unheard of in this insane market.
Bob was recruited to help me out while my original agent was out of town. As luck would have it, I found a home I wanted. He stepped in and hit the ground running. On short notice, he worked with a less than easy listing agent/seller combo and got me in to the house. After letting the house sink in for a couple of days, I wanted to take a second look. Again, Bob arranged for me to get in there. My second walk-through was for me to assess the various improvements I'd want to do if I made the purchase. Bob knows his stuff, and was a great resource as we went from room to room. Mentioning different pros/cons that I wouldn't have even thought of. He's got a great eye for the little things. Once I decided to buy, Bob handled the negotiations like a champ. We went back and forth with the seller, but eventually got the repairs I wanted, and a price I was happy with. I'm not the easiest buyer in the world. I ask a lot of questions, and lack the patience to wait or accept poor communication. Through the process, Bob got back to me super quick, and handled everything I threw at him. Pretty darn great for the guy who started out as my "substitute" agent. No doubt that I'll work with Bob again on my next purchase.
Marge takes the time to understand her clients' needs and wishes, then works tirelessly to satisfy them. Her knowledge of the business and the region also make her an excellent choice for both buyers and sellers.
Marge's marketing of my home in Sandy helped make my house sell at our asking price in only 6 days! She took fantastic photos of the house and yard that caught the eye of prospective buyers and that led to the quick sale. Afterwards, Marge went out of her way to help me find a new home. Marge has become a good friend of mine!
