Jonathan was my buyer's agent in a complicated HUD deal. He helped me understand, navigate, and feel comfortable every step of the way. We encountered several obstacles, and each time he went above-and-beyond to find creative solutions; he even helped me change lenders halfway through so I could obtain the best possible loan. He is an excellent communicator and an incredibly hard worker. Five stars really isn't enough to express how thankful I am for his partnership. I'm a single mom with three young kids (and no previous understanding of the market) and he completely demystified the home buying process. Now I'm a proud homeowner with a stable place to raise my family. I have already recommended him to several of my friends and will continue to do so.
I am very happy with my experience with Jonathan as my buyer's agent. He was always responsive, friendly, helpful and dealt with the seller's and escrow agents in an equally responsive, competent and friendly way (I actually got compliments about him). While Jonathan is relatively new to the real estate industry, he skillfully and efficiently managed the many offers I made on houses and helped me navigate this hot seller's market to be successful in buying a great house in a great neighborhood. I especially appreciate how open and honest he was with all of the processes involved in making offers and closing the purchase of a house. Of all the real estate agents that I have worked with, my experience with Jonathan was the best.
As an investment property real estate agent, Darryn Foor is outstanding. Darryn understood immediately what I was looking for and showed me excellent matches from the very beginning. He pinpointed the perfect duplex in the Portland area - with thorough research on location, rental market and potential appreciation. I was confident at every stage of the transaction. Darryn was mindful of all costs and worked hard to protect me from them. He's a dedicated real estate agent who puts his clients first. There is no question that I will work with him on my next Portland area real estate purchase.
Darryn did a terrific job for us. On very short notice we needed to find a condominium in Portland. Darryn answered my telephone call on Saturday, we saw 9 properties on Sunday and we closed on one less than 2 weeks later.
Marge's marketing of my home in Sandy helped make my house sell at our asking price in only 6 days! She took fantastic photos of the house and yard that caught the eye of prospective buyers and that led to the quick sale. Afterwards, Marge went out of her way to help me find a new home. Marge has become a good friend of mine!
Marge takes the time to understand her clients' needs and wishes, then works tirelessly to satisfy them. Her knowledge of the business and the region also make her an excellent choice for both buyers and sellers.
Bob was recruited to help me out while my original agent was out of town. As luck would have it, I found a home I wanted. He stepped in and hit the ground running. On short notice, he worked with a less than easy listing agent/seller combo and got me in to the house. After letting the house sink in for a couple of days, I wanted to take a second look. Again, Bob arranged for me to get in there. My second walk-through was for me to assess the various improvements I'd want to do if I made the purchase. Bob knows his stuff, and was a great resource as we went from room to room. Mentioning different pros/cons that I wouldn't have even thought of. He's got a great eye for the little things. Once I decided to buy, Bob handled the negotiations like a champ. We went back and forth with the seller, but eventually got the repairs I wanted, and a price I was happy with. I'm not the easiest buyer in the world. I ask a lot of questions, and lack the patience to wait or accept poor communication. Through the process, Bob got back to me super quick, and handled everything I threw at him. Pretty darn great for the guy who started out as my "substitute" agent. No doubt that I'll work with Bob again on my next purchase.
I had a fantastic experience working with Bob. He went far beyond the call of duty for a typical agent and was always extremely quick to respond, even when out of town. His background knowledge of contracting was very helpful in making early assessments of potential properties, and he offered a wealth of knowledge regarding unforeseen pitfalls. He's also clearly skilled in structuring deals in a way to give you the best shot at closing. He always had an interesting angle or way of approaching an offer that depended on the seller and context of the sale. This paid off in the end and we got a fantastic deal on a home in inner NE...something unheard of in this insane market.
Jennifer was awesome to work with! There are no "sale pitches" with her. She is honest and to the point and understands the crazy market + the quality of a home. Jennifer went above and beyond for us, she is highly responsive and made us feel like we were her only clients. Jennifer helped us find the perfect home and I highly recommend her.
As a first time home buyer I had MANY questions and concerns. Jennifer was patient and extremely helpful throughout the process! She was prompt to answer e-mails, texts, and phone calls. Loved using Docusign for paperwork and her negotiation skills are top notch!! I have referred her to my sister to sell her house and if I ever (hopefully not soon) sell my home, she'll be the only realtor I choose!! You honestly couldn't ask for a more kind, fun, efficient, and kick butt realtor than Jennifer Mabry!
I would recommend Gary Haven to anyone looking to purchase a home in the Vancouver, WA area. He listened to me requirements and showed me homes that fit every criteria I gave him. Gary is very personable and helpful through every step of my home buying experience.
I cannot imagine selling this home without the assistance of Gary (Haven). His consummate professionalism, responsiveness and skill made a painfully difficult transaction, smooth and seamless. I would recommend Gary to absolutely anyone buying or selling a home.
Tiffiny was our third realtor. We met by chance at an open house. She immediately had us running from house to house. Over the next three months she had us running just about every day searching for our dream home. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious, We were and are blessed to have her work with us. I recommend here any chance i get.
Lauren recently helped us to sell our home and it was a great experience. She is professional, knowledgeable, encouraging and fun too. We absolutely will recommend her to family and friends, in fact we already have.
As with anything in life, a remodeling project can come with its ups and downs. Certain phases seem to go a mile a minute, while others feel like they’ve lasted a lifetime and a half, all while it looks as though nothing is being completed. Fear not — this is pretty typical. And, while every project is different, a good portion of renovations have four major phases, what I’m calling the Honeymoon, the Midproject Crisis, the Renewal of Vows and the Happily Ever After. […]
Many worry about President Trump’s pledge to remove regulations relating to financial services and the rollback of the ‘Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act’. For those who may be unware of this very substantial bill, it represented the most comprehensive financial regulatory reform measures taken since the Great Depression, and was a result of the financial crisis and housing crash of 2008/2009. In effect, the Dodd-Frank Act created an agency to […]
